How to get the author role
To receive the author role, simply write to the list and ask (see How to join the list). We will give you the author role with all speed. Please give us your name, we will need that.
What does the author role mean?
It means that you can view and download files at the "internal draft" or "published internally" stage and also add files to the Authors workspace.
Why do you do it this way?
The documents inside the Authors workspace require more communication and coordination. We require an email to the list so that we get an opportunity to "meet" the new contributor.
